Antler Fire Steel Survival Firestarter In Leather Tinder Pouch

Cardinal Outdoor Minatare natural antler handle ferrocerium  fire starter makes a lovely gift. Approximately 130mm long with a 8mm ferro rod inset provided in leather tinder pouch, hand made in Devon UK.

With a simple strike along the ferro rod a flurry of sparks (up to 3000°C) are emitted. Three times hotter than the sparks from inferior flint and steels, therefore will light your tinder with ease!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the tinder
2. Scrape off protective coating revealing the ferrocerium
3. Hold the striker at  45° to the rod. Draw the striker hard and fast down the rod
4. Let the sparks fly, onto the tinder
.
